Kissing the Pink formed in London in 1981 and after a short stint playing pubs signed to UK label Magnet Records. They have released 4 commercial albums and 20 singles & EP's since then. They released their debut album 'Naked’ in 1982 and released 4 singles from it to great critical acclaim and chart success ‘The Last Film’ made them regulars on 'Top of the Pops' and 'Maybe This Day' reached #51 in the billboard hot 100. This was followed by a US tour supporting The Police. They released the follow up LP' What Noise' in 1984, which charted in Germany, and they became a four piece in 1986. The band released ‘Certain Things Are Likely’, the title track of the 3rd LP which went to No.1 in the US Dance chart’, keeping Prince off the top slot! While ‘One Step’ became a big European hit & spent 4 weeks at #2 in Italy. The 4th Album 'Sugarland' was released in the US in 1991. They have since co-written and produced numerous other artists including Jason Mraz, Candy Dulfer and K-Klass.

They continue to tour and release music, with a new LP released this autumn.
